Undersea Allure

Inspired by the beauty of mermaids; their mysterious and sensual nature, Undersea Allure is an editorial photoshoot featured in the online magazines, Selin and Flannelle. The featured models are Azul Kechi, Charde Jonah, and Katriel Manapua.

The Story

Louise Webber is a graduate fashion designer who creates intricately detailed clothes which grab the immediate attention of anyone in the room. So when Imogen saw her collection from Glasgow Fashion Week 2023, she knew that she had to use these clothes to style the models.

Following the theme of mermaids, I wanted to create an infinite deep-sea look surrounding the models, using dark colours to make the clothes and models stand out. I wanted to ensure striking depth but keep an element of reality, blending the real world with fantasy. The models took on the role of sultry and alluring women to be lusted over, forever enhancing the storyline.
